BScN, RN Psychotherapist, IBCLC
I am an experienced mental health registered nurse psychotherapist, practicing in child and adolescent psychiatry, with a rich background spanning nearly two decades in both hospital and outpatient settings. More recently, I have been working in the NICU, postpartum and in outpatient settings as an international board-certified lactation consultant. Over the years, I have honed my skills and expertise to become a trusted partner for families embarking on the beautiful yet challenging journey of parenthood. Guiding new mothers, and their partners, through the intricate nuances of breastfeeding has become my passion, and I take immense pride in being a reliable source of knowledge and support during this transformative phase.
My commitment extends beyond the physical aspects of postpartum care; I firmly believe in the crucial intersection of mental health and overall well-being during this period. Recognizing the often overlooked mental and emotional challenges that families face, I have dedicated myself to providing compassionate and informed mental health support. I am driven by a sincere desire to help new parents navigate the emotional rollercoaster that can accompany the arrival of a little one.
Every family I have had the privilege to assist holds a special place in my heart, and their unique stories and challenges continue to inspire and motivate me. I want you to know that we are on the same team, and we have the same goal: I would love to support you with reaching these goals.
My mission is to provide compassionate and evidence-based lactation support, empowering families in their unique breastfeeding journey.
I approach every client with empathy and understanding, recognizing that each family's breastfeeding journey is unique and may come with its own challenges.
My commitment to ongoing education and staying up-to-date with the latest research ensures that we provide the highest quality and evidence-based lactation support.
I empower families with knowledge, tools, and confidence, helping them make informed decisions and achieve their breastfeeding goals.
I celebrate diversity and strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every family feels supported and respected.
